TalkTalk Launches First Customer Experience Centre in Soho

TalkTalk, the biggest provider of broadband to Britain’s homes, has today (19 April) opened a new Customer Experience Centre in Broadwick Street in London. The Centre offers help and advice with ‘broadband experts’ on hand to explain how the internet works as part of the connected home.

The first floor will be a ‘customer lounge’ reserved exclusively for TalkTalk customers. There will be seating, hot and cold refreshments and newspapers provided, plus free WiFi.

Customers can book their place in the lounge by calling 0800 9555 111. The remaining floors within the building are being offered to start-up creative and technology businesses with the first tenants moving in on 19 April. The Customer Experience Centre is based in the building formerly occupied by Tiscali UK, the business acquired by TalkTalk Group in July 2009.

Charles Dunstone, Chairman of TalkTalk, said: “It’s the first time that TalkTalk customers have been able to meet with us face-to-face and learn more about how we can help their lives online. We’ve got some exciting plans including holding exclusive events for our customers tackling everything from Digital Inclusion to the World Cup.”
