Its not the full 4Mbps as something is still picking up interference somewhere

Suggest you repeat your actions at every socket in your house.

Thanks for the reply. I have indeed been doing this today, but it's a lot harder than I thought as there are more colored wires.

To make this easier, I have produced a range of images below that display exactly whats going on in each socket. They appear in the order of: Master Socket, Downstairs Ex and Upstairs Ex.

I need a little help understanding what wires should go where. If anyone could explain then it would be much appreciated. As the current setting of all these, only gives me up to 2mbps.

The wires that aren't connected are spares which I may have pulled out (Bellwire for example).

Many many Thanks.

Ummm. TTMF's policy at the moment is not to promote the sort of stuff you are doing. This is for several reasons, not least of which it is entirely possible to bork up your wiring and either make your phone or broadbnad or both worse, or even not work at all. Some instances of this have occurred in the past, and it has bounced back to TT.

Whilst I feel that I could possibly get away with it as you have already started down this road on your own, and you asked the question rather than have someone point you to it, I feel that at the moment it would be imprudent to do so, as I have no desire to earn myself a ban.

However, that said, I DO think that :-

a) Your wiring at the NTE5 (master) is a mess, and
b) You should keep an eye on your private messages

Yes I fully understand what your saying, I've no intention of wanting to get you a ban, it was indeed me who asked the question as I know this forum will have the people who know what they are doing.

Thank you for your reply, much appreciated
