I have noticed that when posting, the time shown against the post is 1 hour in advance of the actual time, wheras the time shown in the settings page is correct. Can this problem be looked-into please, as this could be important in dealing with broadband speed issues, like the one I currently have HERE (http://www.talktalkmembers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=7538)

Doh...Looking at the time recorded now, the problem seems to have been fixed.

Actually there does seem to be something funny going on.

If you go to the login screen and also once you are logged in, the time reported at the bottom of the page is GMT+1, which is correct given that we are still on BST until next Sunday.

If however you start viewing the forum without logging in, then the time reported at the bottom of the page is GMT.

I have no idea how long this has been going on as I normally log in immediately, but on Saturday I was lurking without logging in and spotted the issue.

Seems strange, perhaps someone can explain.

Think it has always been like this. The Forum (server) seems to default to GMT. Only logged on users get the correct time if user settings have been manipulated - unchanged settings remain at GMT.

Speedtests are recorded in a logged out state - and are also 1hr out.
