Must be new out this week or last - think I'll keep '2' awhile until its tweaked a bit. (Daughter will want some fancy themes.)

Heh, friend of mine actually sat and waited for the release :P

I downloaded it for the office and I use it at home as well.

So far everything seems good, although I noticed it had some issues with forum support (not this one though) but it might as well have been my PC as well :)

5/5 so far from me (and Ive tried all their products :P )

Have been trying it on and off since beta 1 also... RC2 seems no different (but of course lots fixed). As always with new installs it seems fast! Pages render very quickly :D

There are improvements with HTML and CSS standards (but lots of developers have coded around issues so now have bloated code unnecessarily - they should've waited for for browsers to catch up, discuss... lol)

I use RoboForm2Go on a U3 memorystick - the toolbar doesn't seem to be compatible, doesn't load at all so sticking to FF2 and Opera9.5 at the moment...

I preferred FF2 download, the new one seems to involve 2 clicks each time (right click on item then choose from context-menu). However, sure there are clever things to it which will discover over usage.

Foxytunes extension had compatible update as did some of the dev. ones I use so no complaints there. Will be interesting to see what new extensions are possible.

The main thing is that if it doesn't leak memory like FF1 did and FF2 does then everyone will be happy

Heh yea I seriously hope it doesnt.

Had FF2 running for a few days and was wondering why 1 page takes 300mb RAM!

Got 5 pages now since yesterday and its on 108mb. Lets see after the weekend :)

Couple of issues with it, from a die-hard Mozilla fan:

Thunderbird release doesn't appear to be compatible with Thawte Freemail Certificates (private key not exported)
British English dictionary not compatible yet - using Canadian!
This Forum doesn't seem to work well with it, Quicklinks broken, using IE
