PS3 Issue

:confused:Just had a strange one with the ps3. Switched on and it wouldn't recognise any game discs. ut would play BD Movies and DVD's
But if I start Playstation Home, then quit out, lo and behold my game is suddenly there.......Wierd

ive noticed a lot of oddities in technology like that over the years :p

i think the switch it off and back on again phenomenon is such an example.

another is leave it 24hrs and try again... odd how it will work sometimes, yet you havent changed anything...

What firmware release have you got? Apparently when people updated to v3.00, they faced with numerous problems. I never experienced anything, but since then, they released another update.

If its a 60GB version get it down to game quick and trade it for a slim before you get YLOD.

Deffo a software glitch, did a system restore and all is well lol
