Yet again poor speeds, can not surf pages, it shows that it cannot be displayed, yet the TT speed tester shows 1632 kbps download 299 kbps upload and is constant at that all the time. Now when I use Broadband max.co.uk speedtest 291 kbps download and 178 kbps upload. I think i believe this one as TT is not performing at all, and I think a lot more people will agree. What can be done.

What do you get when you can't surf pages? It could be a DNS error.
I don't necessarily agree with your comment about the TT speed tester, as in my case it shows a similar speed to other testers, whilst it is slower that the one at speedtest.net. Speedtester.net seems to have suddenly jumped up the speed, and looking at the history I find it shows speeds that I don't recall achieving.

Both the TT speedtest and Speedtest.net site use the "net metrics OOkla " system. There will always be differences between the readings..The important thing to remember is , it is best to stick to one test site as then you are comparing in a more realistic framework..You only have to go to Speedtest.net and download from say, Minehead and then London to see how the readings vary...I know its nice to see a few extra bits/bytes/sec when you try various sites but its more realistic to use one site and you'll get a truer picture ..
