TalkTalk & CPW Networks have been working hard tracing faults that customers have been experiencing and have identified a list of exchanges that are suffering congestion issues, or Hot Exchanges as they are known internally.
We are working hard to get the data to allow you to check whether you are affected by just entering your phone number but in the interests of speed we are publishing the list of affected exchanges here.
A large number of these exchanges had already been identified as "WARM" and increased capacity had been ordered by the networks planning team. Unfortunately the remainder have had to have new circuit orders placed and these have a longer lead time.
CPW Networks, TalkTalk's infrastructure provider, work hard to try and ensure that increased capacity is in place before these problems occur but on this occasion that was not possible.

Please note that this Web site and the associated forums are currently in the beta stage of pre-launch.
