TalkTalk opened the following network faults yesterday. In plain english these exchange's internet connections have been found to be busy. CPW Networks run a continual monitoring and upgrade plan and, from what I can see, have made these exchanges a priority to eliminate any performance problems customers may be having.
Through our network monitoring we have identified capacity issues at the Bermondsey exchange, at peak times we have experienced 97% utilization, this was experienced at 22:14 on the 20th December, this peak utilisation period can vary day by day. Planned.upgrade work is due to commence at this exchange on the 14/01/08. The experience for our customers is that potential slow broadband speeds will be experienced during these peak hours, once the upgrades have been completed service will be resumed as normal.
