The Apple iPhone

Apple's iPhone was released in the UK on November 9th, 2007 on O2 exclusively through The Carphone Warehouse. In Germany the iPhone is available on T-Mobile, also released on November 9th, 2007. Télécom's Orange is the exclusive carrier for the iPhone in France, released there on November 29, 2007.iPhone Cover Flow

The iPhone is a large screen touch-sensitive multimedia device and mobile phone in one. It's Wi-Fi Internet-enabled and has quad-band GSM EDGE support. We would have liked 3G on the iPhone to see surfing and downloading speeds much improved here in the UK.

As with the first touch-screen mobile phone, the LG KE850 (also known as The LG PRADA Phone), there is no keyboard on this iPod-looking device. A virtual keyboard offers finger-tip typing and dialing. The iPhone's optical-grade glass screen is actually multi-touch; more than one touch position at the same time. So, to zoom into a photo for example, you press two fingers on the screen and slide them open (you may find finger and thumb is more comfortable) - very impressive stuff. Even people with very large fingers should find the input surprisingly accurate. Flicking through your music by sliding pictures of the album covers left or right in landscape mode feels very natural.
