This is tricky. Who am I? I can't remember the last time I had to write something like this so I best start at the beginning.

I started working at Carphone Warehouse in 1993 and, apart from a break for of a couple of months, have been here since. My role at Carphone has always been in Information Technology where I developed computer systems for use throughout the Carphone Warehouse Group.

At home I love technology and have a house that my fiancee claims has more cable than is healthy or natural.

Do I use TalkTalk? Well, this is controversial in that I do use the phone service but I don't use the broadband, Now, before you all decide to form a lynch mob let me explain.

I choose not to use TalkTalk broadband as I have requirements for my connection that are not average, they border on commercial requirements so i choose to pay a monthly subscription to ensure that I get them.

Am I saying that TalkTalk is not reliable or not a good service? Absolutely not ! In my spare time my family and friends are convinced that I run a one to one computer support service. Their own personal Geek Squad of one if you like. They come to me for advice on all aspects of the technological world and to fix their problems and I must admit I love it. The downside is that when things go wrong I get the call to fix it so this brings me back to broadband. Who do my family and friends use for their broadband connection? Its a mix of providers but my immediate family use either TalkTalk or AOL and a large number of my friends use TalkTalk broadband as recommended by myself.

As I think what to write I may fill this in a bit more but for now enojy the site.

I've worked with The Carphone Warehouse since 2000 in various roles in Information Technology from Interface Developer to Development Manager, Business Analyst to my current position. I designed and developed the interface to the Carphone Warehouse Web site as well as the IT Department's intranet.

I'm here to develop and maintain the TalkTalk Members online presence. I have many years of Internet usage and programming. I've also worked closely with people in many areas of the business including TalkTalk, from development to marketing.

Again, like Matt, my broadband requirements are a little more than the average surfer. I host a few personal Web sites in addition to opting for an on-demand broadband TV service. I don't have TalkTalk broadband. However, I do have a TalkTalk landline, and many friends have a TalkTalk landline and TalkTalk broadband.

I hope you find the TalkTalk Members Web site and forums useful, please take this opportunity to contribute to a continually improving TalkTalk service.
