This morning at 11.30, an external power outage in the North West of England impacted the operations at the Knowsley site of one of our network connectivity providers, NTL.
Full service was restored on back up power by 1pm.
The outage resulted in lost connectivity to exchanges across the North West and Scotland. TalkTalk, AOL Broadband and Opal customers on these exchanges may have been without their voice and broadband services for that period.
We apologise to our customers for any inconvenience caused.
