Introducing the Huawei Echolife HG520b

TalkTalk are upgrading our Huawei routers and, from October 6th, they will be using the new Huawei HG520B as one of the options for new and replacement routers. This new wireless router supports WPA-PSK wirless security and has an enhanced look and feel.

As always we recommend that you read the instructions before using your router, and this time we ask you to pay particular attention if you're using your new router as a replacement for the Huawei HG520S.

It's important that you use the power supply provided as the new router operates on DC while the previous router uses an AC power supply so they are not compatible. If you were to use the new router with the old power supply, you will damage the new router and stop it from working.

Just in case you're not one for reading instructions, there's a clear reminder in the welcome letter, CD and via a sticker on the plug point itself.
