Phishing scam

Print E-mail

Some customers have reported emails that appear to have been sent from a TalkTalk sales support email address, asking for Direct Debit details. Email is not a secure way of submitting banking details and TalkTalk would never request a customer to send us them over email.

It has come to TalkTalk's attention that a small number of customers have been contacted via email by a third party claiming to be from TalkTalk. The email asks the customer to reveal personal bank details. Under no circumstances would TalkTalk ask for these details via email and they are advising customers to inform them immediately if they receive such an email. Customer security and privacy are paramount to TalkTalk and they are investigating these attempts to defraud their customers.
