What a lot of people don't know is that you can customise the simple Google home page with the latest news, weather reports, clocks, blogs, photos, youTube videos, your e-mail, jokes, quotes... in fact over 25,000 so-called gadgets are available.
Google call this service iGoogle, let us show you how simple it is to get started.
You can personalise the Google home page with or without signing in to a Google Account. Any changes you make to your iGoogle page while not signed in will only be remembered on the computer on which you made them.
Initially, popular or recommended gadgets will be added to your iGoogle Home page. You can easily remove or rearrange these with simple clicks and drag-and-drop operations.
If you sign in to your Google account then a new level of functionality opens up, for example, Google Email in a gadget on your Home page. It's also useful if you use more than one computer or indeed more than one person uses your computer.
Please note that this Web site and the associated forums are currently in the beta stage of pre-launch.
