Huawei Statistics Monitor

Print E-mail

A utility to capture statistics at a fixed interval from a Huawei SmartAX MT882 or Huawei Echolife HG520s router. The statistics can be saved to a CSV file to aid in analysis especially with intermittent sync loss as it highlights periods of noise.

Huawei Monitor

In order to connect to the router you must enter the IP address, username, password and the modem / router type. The program will attempt to auto correct the modem / router type if you get it wrong. Note that if you have a SmartAX connected via USB then its IP address will be 192.168.1.2 not the default of 192.168.1.1.

Once the utiltiy starts collecting data you may swap to the "Visualise" tab and it will attempt to draw a very simple unscaled chart of what is happening. This is useful for spotting trends or periods of noise but true charting should be done in a program such as Microsoft Excel or OpenOffice Calc.
