Known "My Account" Issues

If you have come to this page then you are probably experiencing issues with your "My Account" or your initial registration.

Almost all of the issues you experience will require assistance from TalkTalk to resolve however there are a few steps you can take with certain errors.

Forgotten your password

Visit the "My Account" page and click on the link for forgotten password. You will then be asked for your email address, once you have clicked submit an email will be sent containing details of how you can access your account. Please note i can take an hour for the e-mail to arrive but it is usually quicker than this.

The customer is unable to amend login password This is caused by a system bug which is currently being investigated, if you contact us we are able to amend your password over the phone YES Contact Customer services or create a new topic in the "My Account" section of the forum. 24 hours

Email address already registered

Your email address has already been used for registration and is currently pending verification YES Try registering again with a different email address if the same error appears or you do not have another email address please contact Customer services or create a new topic in the "My Account" section of the forum. 72 hours
Order is being processed  You may have gone live but are still seeing this message in My Account, this is due to the status of your order not being updated YES Contact Customer services or create a new topic in the "My Account" section of the forum. 24 hours
Line Rental With Another Provider' You may get this error when trying to amend your calling features; this is a known bug currently being investigated. YES Raise a new topic on the forum; we will raise your fault with our support team for them to investigate. A week
